This piece is hand-cast in phosphor or silicon bronze. Bronze wears much like silver, and will tarnish like silver when worn next to the skin. Those with copper allergies should be aware of its high copper content, Tarnishing can be delayed by coating bronze or silver jewellery with clear nail polish, which can easily be removed when polishing becomes necessary.
